10. Cinematography Practical
In my cinematography practical ‘Glimpse’ I used cinematography and other aspects of media that we’ve learnt to build a narrative about a man walking somewhere he shouldn’t be and he is then stalked and hunted by a mysterious non-human killer. I used cinematography to build tension and create an eerie atmosphere by using pov shots to make the audience feel as though they’re the ones fighting by letting them see through the eyes of the characters. Shot List: Establishing/Extreme Long Shot - show setting Very long shot - Main character walks into frame High angle long shot - character continues walking off screen low angle long shot - shows power of antagonist character medium long shot medium shot - more detail of antagonist Long shot Long shot zooms in to medium close up - shows characters expression/feeling Long shot pan - character runs away Big close up - show what character is looking at/afraid of long shot - character runs away two shot - antagonist cat...
